A Bid Depository is a facility whereby Trade contractors can deposit bids to Prime Contractors with copies to the Owner. Prime contractors are able to pick up these Trade contractor bids before their own Prime Contractor bid closing time. The purpose of the Bid Depository is to enable trade bids to be made available and received by Prime Contractors in a confidential manner with a predetermined scope of work. The Bid Depository is based on high ethical standards being used by all parties involved with the tendering process.
