Industry Practices

The development of industry standards, guides and best practices is a key function of the Canadian Construction Association (CCA).

CCA Standard Documents Simplify the Way You Conduct Business

CCA, through its Standard Practices Committee, Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) and Canadian Design-Build Institute (CDBI), develops and publishes a number of critical standard contract documents for industry use. Using standard documents which are up-to-date, easy to understand and familiar to all parties helps you simplify the way you conduct business and save time and money.

All CCA Standard Practices Committee’s documents are sold through our partner associations while some are available free of charge to our members from the Members Only section of this website.

CCA Industry Guides Provide Valuable Information

CCA industry guides help you run your business better by providing useful information on a number of topics like project financing, insurance, solid waste reduction, improving cash flow, environmental management planning, exporting to the United States, banking, etc.

Some of these guides are available as free downloads to anyone while some are available as free downloads to CCA members from the Members Only section and others, for example the CCA Human Resource Toolkit, are sold through our partner associations.
