Media Advisory: Canadian Construction Association
Ottawa, May 6, 2008 - The Chairman of the Canadian Construction Association and the Chairman of the Ottawa Construction Association invite you to attend a special media event on Thursday, May 8 starting at 10 am, to discuss the urgent need for federal investment in Canada's college system, and more specifically, the need to invest in the new Centre for Construction Trades and Building Sciences at Algonquin College.
The media event will commence at 10 am with comments from Chairman Paul Charette and Algonquin College President Robert Gillett, followed by questions and answers. Algonquin College staff will then provide a guided tour of the existing trades training centre on campus. The event is expected to attract a number of national and local political and industry leaders.
