CCA Overview
Membership
The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is the voice of the national non-residential construction industry. Our 20,000 member firms represent contractors across a wide variety of sectors – general contractors, trade contractors, roadbuilders, design-builders, insurance and finance companies, and the list goes on. This diversity of backgrounds enables CCA to speak authoritatively to the federal government, to the media, to Canadians, and to the international community on the issues affecting you.
Our true strength lies with our members. It is our members who drive CCA. It is our members who provide direction and guidance to the association, and who give us the mandate to speak out on the issues and concerns affecting them. It is our members who have made CCA the success it is today.
CCA is the only national association speaking out on behalf of the interests of the Canadian construction industry. Without CCA, the industry would be mute on the dozens of issues and concerns that affect your company on a daily basis.
Why become a member?
The short answer is we need you, and the industry needs you. We need you to add your voice and your energy to building a better CCA.
Of course, there are benefits of membership – we invite you to take a look at just some of the benefits of CCA membership.
How to become a member of CCA
If you want to join CCA, there are probably of few questions you need answered first. How do you become a member? What are the fees associated with joining CCA? What are some of CCA’s priorities?
There are two ways that you can become a member of CCA.
Integrated Member: Check to see if your local or provincial construction association is a member of CCA. If so, by joining one of these associations, you automatically become a member of CCA. A percentage of the membership fees that you will pay to the local or provincial association will be remitted to CCA to cover our membership fees. A list of member associations is provided on this website under Directories and Links.
Corporate Leader Member: CCA corporate membership provides instant acknowledgement by industry members and peers that your firm is a recognized national leader in your sector of the construction industry. A list of firms that have already joined CCA as a corporate leader member is provided on this website under Directories and Links. Aside from the benefits of being a CCA member, there are additional incentives for choosing membership as a corporate leader.
