Notice:<\/strong> We are currently revising the Gold Seal accreditation program to create a smoother, more efficient process while ensuring high standards and industry relevance. During this transition, we are not accepting new or renewable course applications. However, construction-related courses can still be included in applicants\u2019 Gold Seal Certification applications, subject to credit approval upon review.<\/p>\n\n

Course providers may use the following statement for course listings on websites, outlines and\/or communication to students:<\/p>\n\n

Course hours can be used towards the Gold Seal Certification application for credits, subject to credit approval upon review. Note: every 6 hours of learning equals 1 Gold Seal credit.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

We will notify all course providers of the new guidelines and program changes by email, once the revisions have been completed (anticipated completion: end of 2023).<\/p>\n\n

Meet the Gold Seal curriculum standard<\/h2>\n\n

The primary objective of accreditation is to help prospective candidates, employers and the interested public to identify any academic material which meet the Gold Seal curriculum standard.<\/p>\n\n

The curriculum standard serves as a guide for those responsible for construction management education. It provides information on each of the eleven subject matter areas that are recommended in support of the Gold Seal Certification (GSC) Program.<\/p>\n\n

Accreditation is based on content and duration, the formula to calculate credit allocation is 6 hours = 1 credit.<\/p>\n\n

    *Information for each subject matter is intended as\u00a0a guideline.*The Gold Seal Certification Program is a construction management program and therefore accredits construction management education. An exception is made for some technical courses\/seminars\/workshops and conferences related to topics such as BIM, LEED, AutoCAD, etc.*There is a cap of 10 credits\/course regardless of duration.<\/p>\n\n
