98th CCA Annual Conference in New Orleans

Conference Chair's Message

GilBrulotteDear members of the Canadian Construction Association,

I would like to invite you to CCA’s annual conference in New Orleans.

Past attendees have given me amazing feedback on our conferences. If you are contemplating attending for the first time, you can’t go wrong. It truly is a world-class event. With the planned sessions everyone will return home with more knowledge plus lots of new friends or contacts. There will be a ton of fun to be had as well!

This year’s theme Unmasking Our Contributions speaks to our industry’s accomplishments which all too often go unnoticed. When you start thinking about it, construction industry has a huge impact on the society in terms of how many people it employs and what its contribution to the GDP and even to our quality of life is, just to mention a few indicators.

As many of our contributions are hidden underground or behind walls, our host city New Orleans, known for Mardi Gras and good food 24/7 among other things, is a perfect match. New Orleans is also an interesting choice from construction industry standpoint since the city itself has been the location of a huge rebuild in the past ten years since hurricane Katrina.

This conference website is your destination for the most up-to-date information and registration. If you haven’t already signed up for conference updates, I urge you to subscribe at bit.ly/ccasubscribe.

Bring yourself, your colleagues, friends and your family. My wife Eileen and I look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones!
