Sara O’Malley, PCL Construction
Leadership in construction is often measured by scale, complexity, and results.
At just 36 years old, Sara O’Malley is redefining what leadership looks like—at PCL Construction and across the Canadian construction industry.
Over a 14-year career, Sara has progressed from student to senior project manager, earning trust not through title, but through performance—delivering more than 15 challenging projects, including some of Canada’s most complex P3 healthcare builds, with clarity, confidence, and care.
Her leadership extends into the community—through chairing United Way campaigns, DE&I initiatives, and involvement in her community’s Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
Recognized with PCL’s Robert Stollery Construction Leadership Award and named one of On-Site magazine and SiteNews’ Top 40 Under 40, it’s clear that Sara’s impact is not going unnoticed.
For her integrity, innovation, and courage to lead differently, Sara O’Malley is recognized with the CCA Young Leader Award.
