CCA Excellence in Innovation
The CCA Excellence in Innovation Award recognizes outstanding CCA member firms who have implemented innovative construction practices within the past two years. These practices must have been a “first-time” use or adoption for use in Canada, but may have been previously applied or used elsewhere.
The recipient is awarded with the Hugh R. Montgomery Memorial Trophy, which commemorates the life and work of Hugh R. Montgomery, a past president of CCA who gave generously of his time and experience for the general well-being of the industry.

Coffrages Synergy Formwork
Coffrages Synergy Formwork wanted a tool that would not only provide its employees with an opportunity for individual and collective development, but also a sense of belonging and connection. After reviewing commercially available applications and software solutions and realizing that 75 per cent of its employees are under the age of 40 and extremely active on social networks, Coffrages Synergy Formwork decided to develop its own app to communicate and share with their employees the tools needed to enhance their knowledge on issues relating to environmental impact, social responsibility and prevention, thus greatly reducing unforeseen risks.
