2025/2026 recipient(s)
Peter Kiewit Sons ULC
Thousands of people come to work on Kiewit projects across Canada every day—building critical infrastructure, shaping communities, and trusting that they will go home safely at the end of each shift.
At Kiewit, Nobody Gets Hurt isn’t a tagline. It’s a responsibility, owned by leadership, reinforced through disciplined planning, leadership presence at the workface, and a culture that refuses to accept serious injuries or fatalities as inevitable.
Kiewit’s impact doesn’t stop at its own sites.
As a leader within national safety organizations, an early adopter of advanced safety helmets, a champion of Craft Voice in Safety, and a contributor to mental health and temporary works standards, through organizations such as the Canadian Construction Safety Council, Kiewit shares what it learns—helping raise expectations across the construction industry.
Peter Kiewit Sons ULC is a deserving recipient of the CCA National Safety Award.
