On the recently completed MUN Core Science Facility, Marco received recognition for the fact that five leaders of the 11-person project team were women. In fact, the results of their efforts to date have been very positive with over 65 per cent of Marco’s workforce consisting of individuals from populations not commonly engaged in the construction industry, including women, visible minorities, and LGBTQ2S+. Marco is also pleased to report that 18 per cent of its maritime division are landed immigrants to Canada.
