The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is thrilled to announce that our marquee event, the 2024 Annual Conference, will take place March 12-15 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic at the Paradisus Palma Real Golf and Resort Spa. CCA’s National Advisory Council (NAC) meetings and Annual General Meeting (AGM) will also take place at the same location on March 11. This multi-day industry event will bring together leaders from across the country for incredible content, networking and to celebrate our member’s accomplishments through our National Awards program (you can nominate a deserving candidate for one of nine categories here).

All registrations for delegates, companions and children include:

  • Access to all sessions – including the opening keynote, the economic outlook session and our Rhymes, Rhythms and Rum showcase.
  • Welcoming night reception and dinner presented by Travelers Canada – Kick off the conference with us in a Dominican-themed evening.
  • CCA National Awards ceremony presented by Northbridge Insurance – Celebrate the people and projects that are raising the bar for our industry.

Participants attending the CCA Annual Conference will qualify to receive three Gold Seal credits*

*Valid for construction management professionals applying for Gold Seal Certification (GSC) or Professional Gold Seal Certification (P.GSC). See the Gold Seal website for more information.

To register, follow these steps

  1. Complete registration
  • Click the REGISTER button. Fill in the required fields, which includes personal information (name, contact details, allergies, companion, and children travelling with you, etc.), and any additional information requested.
  • Choose additional options. The registration form will include additional options, such as guest registration for your companion and/ or children and Golf Tournament participation.
  • Review and confirm. Before submitting your registration, carefully review all the information you have entered. Pay attention to the total fees and review the cancellation and refund policy.
  • Make payment. Proceed to the payment section and follow the instructions provided to make the required payment for your registration.
  • Receive confirmation. After submitting your registration and making the payment, you will receive a confirmation email notification. This serves as proof of your registration for the conference. In your confirmation you will receive information about accessing the Hotel on-line booking tool to book your all-inclusive hotel room within the CCA block at a preferred rate. Keep this confirmation safe for future reference.

Note: board and & NAC meeting attendance will have a separate registration form.

2. Book your hotel room: The conference runs from March 12 until the late evening on March 15th, so be sure to select a checkout date of March 16th or later.

Hotel

The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is thrilled to announce that our marquee event, the 2024 Annual Conference, will take place March 12-15 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic at the Paradisus Palma Real Golf and Resort Spa.

You are responsible for booking your accommodation package via the CCA hotel portal, once registration is launched. The hotel package must be booked directly with the hotel using a booking code. Hotel booking code and link will be provided after you register for the conference.

Room block information:

A room block is being held for CCA with special rates. A unique branded ID bracelet will be issued upon arrival for individuals booked under the CCA block. This will provide access to special events. If you book with external agencies, such as Sunwing, Air Canada Vacations, etc., you will not be eligible to access some CCA activities or make reservations at the à la carte restaurants exclusively reserved for CCA block guests.

All rates are quoted per person, per night in U.S. dollars and include meals. Rates and room block are held until February 1, 2024, or sold out – whichever occurs first.

The conference dates are March 12 – 15, 2024. If you would like to extend your stay, pre (March 3 – 11, 2024) and post rates (March 16 – 17, 2024) will apply.

The all-inclusive hotel package includes: selected accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks, access to health club and pools, and complimentary Wi-Fi across the hotel.
Services not included: golf, spa, motorized water sports, casino, premium beverages, and laundry.


Th assigning of rooms will be subject to the hotel availability. Specific buildings are not guaranteed.

The system permits a maximum of two rooms to be booked under the same name; any number beyond that is not permissible.

Hotel booking policy for children:

  • 50 per cent discount per child aged four to 12 with a maximum of two children per room with two adults, or three adults and one child.
  • Children 4 years of age and under will be lodged at no charge as long as they share a room with their parents.
  • Rates for teenagers aged 13 to 17 will receive a 30 per cent discount from the double occupancy rate.
  • Quad occupancy with four adults is not allowed.

Note: Children are not allowed in the Royal Service area of the hotel.
Note: A valid passport for each person is required at check in.

Cancellations and transfers of registration

Registration Cancellations :

Prior to February 1, 2024: cancellations received before February 1, 2024 will be eligible for a refund of the registration amount, less a $250 USD administrative charge. Golf Tournament registrations which are canceled prior to this date will be fully refunded.

On or after February 1, 2024: however no refunds will be permitted if you cancel on or after February 1. The registration amounts will be non-refundable. If you have registered for the Golf tournament and can no longer attend, you may find a substitute to take your place, no refunds on or after February 1..

Transfers of registration:

Prior to March 1, 2024: Transfer of registration to another individual will be accepted at no additional cost until March 1, 2024. Please contact us with the details of the person who will be taking over the registration.

On or after March 1, 2024: For changes to registrations made after March 1, 2024, please contact us directly to discuss the transfer process and any associated fees or requirements.

Please note: 

  • All cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to: InfoRegistration@cca-acc.com.
  • Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 30 business days after receiving a valid cancellation request.
  • Any bank charges or fees associated with the refund will be borne by the registrant.
  • Transfer requests are subject to availability and our approval. Additional fees may be assessed.

REMINDER:

Please be sure to cancel your hotel room and any airport transportation or tours you have arranged with local providers.

Please be aware that if you receive a phone call or email inviting you to reserve a hotel room from a company other than CCA, these third parties are not affiliated with CCA in any way. We cannot guarantee that the rooms and rates they are offering are legitimate and we discourage our members from providing any personal information, such as credit card numbers, with these companies. Valid information about hotel accommodation for the CCA conference will only be sent from a @CCA-ACC.com email address, or from the hotel directly, if you already have a reservation.
