Choose the right partners with CCA’s new Partner Evaluation Tool

Set your project up for success with the right team

Risk is a factor that should be evaluated and priced accordingly. When contractors can assess the reliability of key project stakeholders, they’re better equipped to avoid costly complications.

While many companies have their preferred partners, CCA’s new Partner Evaluation Tool, developed by our Trade Contractors National Advisory Council, provides a structured way to assess these relationships. The tool allows users to score prospective partners on six key criteria, resulting in a risk level that can help inform decisions on pricing – or even help decide whether to pursue a project at all.

Make the most of our new tool

  • Know your risk level: Identify areas of key risk, including payment, changes, company culture, and more, before committing to a project or a particular partner.
  • Don’t get burned: Avoid working with partners who bring undue risk or uncertainty to a project.
  • Tailor it to your needs: The tool is flexible and can be modified to include factors to suit your company’s specific needs.

This tool complements the CCA’s Bid Go or No Go bulletin, which helps users evaluate whether to bid on a project by asking the right questions upfront.
