New to the program? Start here.

For Estimators, Forepersons, Owner’s Construction Managers, Project Managers, Safety Practitioners, and Superintendents. If an applicant started their application in the previous portal but did not submit or pay for it, they must enroll in the Program.

Cost: $425 plus applicable taxes

Requirements: A minimum of one year of experience in the designation or two years in an assistant’s role, plus a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s current employer and direct supervisor.

Please note: If you have your NCSO, MCIOB, PQS, or CEC, please do not complete this enrolment form. Instead, you will need to complete the “equivalency” form in the next drop-down menu below.

Next steps: Once the completed enrollment form is submitted, it is reviewed by the Gold Seal team. An approval email will be sent to the applicant within 1-2 weeks. If approved as a Gold Seal Intern (GSI), and the applicant has all necessary requirements as outlined in the application guide, they can complete and submit their GSC application.

New to the Program, but have an equivalency? Start here.

Equivalency application: For applicants with one of the following equivalencies (see application guide for details):

MCIOB for all designations 

NCSO for Safety Practitioners 

PQS and CEC for Estimators 

Cost: $525 plus applicable taxes

Requirements: Proof of one of the above certifications and applicable requirements based on the designation. Please see the application guide for details.

Existing Gold Seal Intern? Start here.

For applicants who submitted an enrollment application and were approved as a Gold Seal Intern (GSI). 

Cost: $100 plus applicable taxes

Requirements: Approval as a GSI plus a minimum number of credits for experience, education/training (mandatory and safety included). Please review pages 13-20 in the application guide for specific requirements.

Application form: The GSC application link is only shared with applicants whose enrollment has been approved.

Next steps: Once the GSC application form is submitted, it is reviewed by the Gold Seal team. An approval email will be sent to the applicant within 1-2 weeks with details on how to proceed.

GSI to GSC application – approved as GSI

For applicants who applied as a GSI and were approved in the previous portal must begin a new GSC application when they meet the GSC requirements.  

Cost: $525 plus applicable taxes

Requirements: Approval as a GSI plus a minimum number of credits for experience, education/training (mandatory and safety included). Please review pages 13-20 in the application guide for specific requirements.

GSC final review

For applicants whose GSC application was previously reviewed but did not meet the requirements.  

Applicants must use the final review form (no cost) to submit their application for review when they have over 100 credits. This should happen within the five-year period when applicants were approved as a GSI as an intermediate step. If you do not remember how many credits you have, please review your emails/documents from the Gold Seal team. If you have lost your statement or no longer have access to it, please contact goldseal@cca-acc.com. 

Requirements: Missing requirements and/or documentation highlighted in the statement email provided by the Gold Seal team. Only include information and certificates not included in your original application (yearly experience since the last review and new certificates). You must include a new letter of reference if it has been more than one year from your application approval or if you have changed employers.

Approved to write the Gold Seal Certification exam?

For applicants who have received an approval to proceed with writing the Gold Seal Certification exam. Note: exam registration is only for individuals who have received an approval by email to write the exam. 

Cost: $125 plus applicable taxes 

Requirements: GSC approval (enrollment approved and GSC application approved).

Registration form: Please refer to the approval email to register for the exam.

Next steps: Once the exam registration is submitted, a confirmation email will be sent.

Professional Gold Seal Certification

For individuals who have achieved their Gold Seal Certification and are interested in pursuing the highest level of certification. 

Cost: $125 plus applicable taxes 

Requirements: Please refer to our P.GSC webpage for full details.

Next steps: Once the P.GSC application form is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Gold Seal team within 1-2 weeks. An approval email will be sent to the applicant outlining the new certification details.
