One of the goals of our 5-year strategic plan is to re-position the image of the industry to address workforce shortage by attracting diverse workforce including under-represented segments, women, indigenous Canadians, new Canadians and others. When we succeed, construction will be an employer of choice, attracting a diverse and tech-savvy workforce. At the same time, everybody benefits from a highly-skilled workforce. One of the ways CCA delivers this is through our Gold Seal Certification program which certifies Canadian construction management professionals. Applicants require a combination of industry experience, education and training to challenge the Gold Seal exam and, if successful, to become Gold Seal Certified (GSC).
